Mysore Palace, Mysore, Karnataka
Year of Completion: 1912
This magnificent palace was commissioned by Queen Kempananjammanni and built by British architect Henry Irwin. The palace is built in fine gray granite stones and the domes are made of pink marble. It was the official residence of the former imperial family of Mysore. The three-storied building is 245 feet in length and 156 feet in breadth.
