Background
Was established 1901 as an American boarding school for the children of missionaries in South India. KIS is a non denominational Christian school. In 1960 the school was accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools &
Colleges, Philadelphia. KIS High School was the first international and first IB school in India with IBO approval of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program for Grades 11 and 12 in 1974.

High School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program for Grades 11 and 12.

KIS Local Fee Schedule is applicable to students whose financial provider is a citizen of SAARC countries (India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka or Pakistan) and is employed in the respective country earning in local currency.
KIS Foreign Fee Schedule is applicable to students whose financial provider is employed in countries other than those
listed above or is not a citizen of these countries but is employed/ living within these countries
