Background
Woodstock was started by a company of British officers and American Missionaries as a school for Protestant
Christian girls. It claims to be one of the leading international Christian residential schools in India. It has 476 students from 21 countries and nearly 50% expatriate staff.

Curriculum
The Elementary School follows the Early Childhood Programme and there are several co-curricular programmes like Community Service and Restoration of Environment (CARE). Middle School Students are prepared for the IGSCE exams conducted by CIE (Cambridge International Examinations). High School: Grade X students take the IGSCE examinations. Grade XII students are awarded the High School Diploma, which according to the school website is recognized as equivalent to the Indian school leaving examination.
Staff
Woodstock has a balance of Indian and expatriate staff to ensure a multicultural learning experience. The expatriate staff is from North America, South Africa, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
