About Doon School
The Doon School is one of the most prestigious boarding schools in India. It was founded by Satish Ranjan Das,
one of the eminent barristers of pre-independent India. He set up the Indian Public Schools’ Society (IPSS) in 1929 to establish a school for Indians based on the English Public school system. The Doon School ranks as India’s best residential school for boys. The school focuses on ‘educating for life’ and has a curriculum that focuses on academic, cultural and sporting pursuits.
